Catholic Riviera Maya Wedding Ceremony

Catholic Ceremony Info

CChapels are beautiful and romantic, a sacred space where dreams, hopes, and fantasies shall be blessed and the foundations for your love shall be established, based upon important values that will allow your relationship to last forever.

The Catholic Wedding Ceremony is a Holy Sacrament: this means that the Catholic Religion only allows Marriages to be performed in a Church and nowhere else.

People of the Catholic faith may marry in a local Church as long as they submit a Certificate signed by their Parish Priest stating that they have attended the Prenuptial meetings.

It is important to note that the Bride, Groom and the witnesses must speak with the Priest beforehand, therefore, they must be present at least three days before the date of the Wedding.

Catholic Ceremonies will receive a symbolic Marriage Certificate with no Legal value.
Such a Certificate is not legally binding and is NOT proof of Legal Marriage in Mexico or in any other country.

Some couples choose to have their legal wedding in their home country and have a Catholic Ceremony in the destination while others choose to realize both ceremonies here in Mexico.

Catholic Ceremonies may be performed in English or Spanish.
